1:1 science lessons matched to your child's exam board and level. The kind of explanation that actually makes the textbook make sense.
No commitment. Takes 5 minutes.

Most students who come to us are dealing with at least one of these. Sound familiar?
Biology, Chemistry, and Physics each have their own vocabulary, methods, and exam style. Most students find one clicks and the other two don't — yet.
Theory makes sense in class. Then the exam question rewords it, adds a graph, or asks why, and the answer doesn't come. That gap between understanding and applying is where most Science marks are lost.
Schools cover them quickly and move on. But required practicals come up in exams and they need to be understood, not just memorised. Most students don't realise this until it's too late.
Triple Science GCSE and A-Level Chemistry are not the same subject. The content almost doubles, the questions go deeper, and the exam technique changes completely. Students who coasted through GCSE often hit this wall hard in Year 12.
"Adam always understood science in class but fell apart in exams. His tutor worked on exam technique specifically and the difference in his mocks was immediate."
— Leila, Mum of Year 10 student
"Zara's required practicals were a complete blind spot going into her mocks. Her tutor spent two sessions on nothing else and she said the exam felt completely different. Got a 7 in the end."
— Emma, Mum of Year 11 student
"We chose Hello Tutor specifically for A-Level Chemistry. The tutor knew the Edexcel spec inside out and our daughter hit her university offer in the end. Couldn't be more relieved."
— Claire, Mum of Year 13 student
Whether they're in Year 4 or sitting their A-Levels, we've got the right tutor for where they are.
Key topics:
Living things and their habitats, plants and animals, materials and their properties, forces and motion, light and sound
Skills developed:
Scientific curiosity, observation skills, understanding cause and effect, basic experimental thinking
Common goals:
Building interest in science early, preparing for secondary school Science, supporting SATs preparation

Key topics:
Cells and organisms, chemical reactions, energy and forces, the particle model, genetics and ecosystems
Skills developed:
Scientific method, using data to draw conclusions, separating the three disciplines in their thinking
Common goals:
Keeping pace with a three-subject curriculum, building the foundations that GCSE builds directly on

Key topics:
Biology (cells, genetics, ecology, physiology), Chemistry (atomic structure, bonding, reactions, organic chemistry), Physics (forces, energy, electricity, waves) — AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge IGCSE
Skills developed:
Six-mark extended writing, required practicals, applying knowledge to unfamiliar contexts, exam board-specific technique
Common goals:
Moving from a 4-4 to a 5-5 or above in Combined Science, achieving strong separate grades in Triple Science, managing revision across three subjects simultaneously

Key topics:
Full A-Level specification in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics — all major exam boards covered
Skills developed:
Applying theory to data questions, extended experimental write-ups, bridging the GCSE-to-A-Level knowledge gap
Common goals:
Securing an A or A*, meeting medicine, dentistry, engineering, or STEM university entry requirements

Key topics:
Group 4 subjects — Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Systems and Societies — at SL and HL
Skills developed:
Internal Assessment design and write-up, data analysis, extended response under exam conditions
Common goals:
Achieving a 6 or 7, strengthening IA scores, managing the increased content at HL

Our tutors are graduates from leading universities, selected through a rigorous process. Fewer than one in five applicants make it through. They know their subject and they know how to teach it.
A degree from a leading university in the subject they teach
